The HM Foundation supports causes that reflect the values of the Moerel family, among others

• the importance of respect for all irrespective of race, religion or beliefs
• the belief in the power of music as a unifying language which transcends  cultural and other borders
• the importance of understanding (diversity in) cultural and social history, as a means to broaden understanding of the future
• the importance of forgiving, and giving, together with the power of optimism, to create a better world

The Foundation provides grants and funding to organisations and individuals it believes could carry and promote these same values.

The aim of the Foundation is to support young people in fulfilling their potential, and in doing so to enable them to carry the hopes of their generation and to enrich the lives of others.
